California Senate passes bill requiring history textbooks to include contributions of GLBT people in the state's history.
No word from Ahnold on the subject yet, but then he doesn't seem to have a position on much of anything these days. I wonder if he thinks the state courts ought to handle this one too. Ah well. It still has to pass the Assembly, but I'm hopeful. The fundie news media is screaming, and that's good enough for me. :D
