I have so much that I feel like I need to write about but I really don't feel like taking to time to express all the things I need to say creativly and thoroughly. So I 'll start with one topic and see where it goes.
This past weekend I went to oshawa to go watch my cousin play volleyball. It was pretty fun to be able to see her in my province, and have her see what life is kind of like in ontario even though I'm not from oshawa.
So while I was there I was hanging out with some of the moms on the team, (cougars, but in a good way). Anyways, two other moms have daughters who I am friends with who are the same age as me. One from high school and one from volleyball. Those girls are also both still living at home. It's interesting to see how much they still are relying on their parents. Given that one of them is preggers however I guess that does make a difference. At the same time there are sometimes people I see living on their own and doing all sorts of crazy things that I feel like wow...they must be so independant. Like having full time jobs and making all kinds of new friends. I'm just so happy though that I am not living at home anymore because I think it's made me into a much more mature person and I like that I can do things for myself. It's just such a weird transition point though. Like I don't need to ask my parents for permission for anything.
