So I was watching one of my favorite movies, the september issue, which documents the creation of vogues september issues and in the fashion world, september is like the new year and it's the most important issue of the season, and I got to thinking about Anna Wintour who is the editor in chief and how she is known for always wearing sunglasses. Now I don't know how much many of you know about her, but she is known as possibly the biggest person in fashion and can make or break fashion designers careers. If you spite her, she doesn't feature you in vogue which is career suicide. She is also the alleged inpiration behind the book the devil wears prada and even shoed up to the movie premiere wearing prada! She is always shown int he front row at fashion shows wearing sunglasses which is one of her trademark things to do. I realized that without those sunglasses there would be so much more volatility in the fashion industry. She cannot make any public judgements about designers collections for fear of ruining it for others. She needs to pretty much keep her emotions under wraps because so many people rely on her opinion. Can you imagine that kind of pressure?
