And it's Monday...again.
Well I missed a blog. Shame on me. Yesterday was a good day. It definitely made up for the rest of the weekend. I woke up at around 11 and talked to Kenken. He said he was trying to sleep after work since he had to work at 6 in the morn. Only til 10 tho, but still. So he was at his dad's alone trying to sleep since it was the weekend to spend time with his dad. So I showered and went shopping for a bit and then brought over some lunch. Mcy D's of course. ugh. He was happy to see that I got him a Big Mac. So we ate lunch on a blanket in the basement, kind of like a picnic but not since almost all of his dad's furniture is moved out. So we hung out for a bit and then popped in Hannibal Rising. Boooorrringggg. We couldn't even make it to the half way mark of the movie. So we popped that out and popped Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, since I love that movie so much. I watched it with him again. His dad finally called half way through the movie to let us know he was coming home and to invite us out to dinner. I raced home to change cuz I looked like a bum. I took a little longer than expected and finally got a phone call from Ken asking what I was doing. I explained to him that 'changing' meant changing, putting my face on and doing my hair. I finally finished and raced back to his house. We finished the movie and his dad, brother and Share came in. We chatted for a bit and then went to the Michigan for dinner. It was a really nice time. His dad and Share are so cute together.We had a couple good laughs. One conversation goes like this:
Share - "Carl, how much are you making now at Golden Griddle, if you don't mind me asking."
Carl - "$7.50, it's student wage."
Ken - "Yeah, minimum wage is $8.00 now"
Me - "Hey Carl, just quit school so you don't have to make student wage anymore."
Ken - "Ha yeah."
Carl - "Yeah, so I can make a whole 50 cents more?"
Ken - "You mean 10 cents?"
Carl - Stares at Ken in stupidity
"IT'S NOT TIME KEN!!!!!"
Everyone but Ken laughs.
Ken - puts his head down in shame.
Hahahah, oh Ken. He's so smart sometimes. Anyways, so after that we get back to the house and decide to go to his mom's. Carl and I made a little pit stop at my house so that I could get my camera so I could upload the pictures I took at Chubby Pickle. We get back to his mom's house and we decide to go see Ocean's Thirteen. We made a pit stop at Timmy's to get some ice caps and then booted it to the theater. The movie turned out to be pretty good. We chatted in the car for a bit and then I went home. So it turned out to be a good day/night. Anyways, that was my weekend. And now it's back to the usual weekly routine.
