Can you hear her, Sinclair? This is what you did! This is what you and Delta and-
[She cuts herself off, laughing, almost cackling, although it might not be loud enough for Sinclair to hear. Granted, she may be a lot calmer than many of the residents, but her crazy is certainly on par, you see, somebody has been confusing anti-anxiety meds with candy since the event started and might be just a little bit off.]
They were all screaming just like that.

She tries to adjust her eyes to the darkness and soon spots Sinclair sitting on the bed. This is the first time since her... since his... since their death that she sees him again. For a long time she just stares. Then:]
You look awful.

Then, she speaks. And for a moment, he's quiet and still staring.
And then he's moving, pushing up, stepping over and reaching down to grab her, aiming to throw her further into the room, towards a wall.]

She quickly turns around and tries to pull herself up, staring at Sinclair who is now standing between her and the door.]

Eyes still fixed on Sinclair in panic she pushes herself away from him with her legs until she feels her back pressed against a wall.]

And then the voice in the back speaks up again and he thinks of Jack. Jack wouldn't kill her. Jack would let her live. Sinclair stops, midswing, wrench paused in the air, and just stares at Lamb.]

Her mind flashes to images of the Little Sisters, of Grace, Alexander, Stanley even. She waits for the final blow, but when it doesn't come she lowers her hands slowly and when she looks up at Sinclair there's venom in her eyes.]
Delta made it look so much easier, didn't he?

Finally pulling herself up proves to be more difficult than she thought and when she takes a few steps she thinks she's going to fall down again. Instead she just stops, with her back to Sinclair, her hand in her bag, standing silently like that... yet another eternity.
Then she takes out a pack of cigarettes, lights one and walks away, not bothering to close the door behind her.]
