So, Brian and I drive to Indy tonight. It was fun. Good times were had. Then, driving back from Indy it starts to snow. No biggie. I'm being careful. Then, in the middle of the road in the snow is an object. As the road is covered in snow, I make the judgment that it is better to straddle the object with the car than to swerve and slide in the snow. Only problem is that the object rips to shreds the bottom of my brand new car with 255 miles on it. All lights come on in the car. The car dies with a trail of oil running behind it. Here we are sitting on the side of highway 37 in a snowstorm at after 4 AM. My brand new car is very, very dead. I call 911. Tow truck comes. Tows us to the Bloomington Honda dealership where I leave in the snow on Sunday at 5:30 AM my new Civic. Who knows how much is wrong with it and what it will take to fix it. Is the engine completely dead? I don't know. Then best friend Chris picks us up at the dealership after the tow truck goes off and leaves Brian and I standing in the snow. I get home at 6:15 AM. I'm so freaking depressed.
