Howdies folks. So here I am, updating from the office again. Yes, in case you're wondering, it is a public holiday for most people here in Singapore, sadly, I am scheduled to work, as usual. Nothing new here. Move along, now.
Hmm... let's see what I should be blogging about on this fine Wesak/Vesak Day.
Office is pretty quiet. There's a whole bunch of office news/gossips, but then, it's those "you just gotta be there to appreciate it" kind of thing. Of course, a majority of it involves someone's lover boy. For the sake of privacy, I shall not post his name, coz he's a friend of someone in the Bear family ;-p *winkwink* Besides, someone once defended him vehemently heheheh... so I shall not antagonize the person. I'm still hoping to see some drama full of poison coated daggers and jumping down from tall buildings with a single bound, but I guess that's wishing for too much hahahaha... I'll just settle for some open warfare in the office. Should be good enough. With me watching from a safe distance, of course.

Hmm... there are certain things that I wish I had known more. Certain people I wish I had been more familiar with. Alas, time does not wait for tide nor man. How I wish I could have more time to spend with the people around me. Brief encounters that more than a hi-bye thingy is not really enough to catch up with, I'm sure.

WoW News. Don't read if it puts you off to sleep.
WoW wise, am getting quite happy now with the direction things are moving along in. My guild, which I joined over a few months back, finally acknowledged me. Yes, after months of those awkward silent moments in the guild chat whenever I asked about something. Mind you, I never begged for free things. Those moments really made me felt like quitting and joining a friendlier guild. It was a chanced encounter, really. They were short on healers for one of those new bosses they're trying to clear - failed attempts after failed attempts. One of those end game raids (for now, that is, with the new expansion in the horizon, a new end game raid will be available soon) they're trying to "progress" through.
Funnily enough, after their wipe fest, they decided to do a recount of who did how much damage or healing. My eyes almost popped out when I saw my name appearing at the top of the list for the amount of healing done. I was like... wtf??!?? And to add icing to the cake, someone else pulled out their diagnostic results for that particular run, and they both tally. The next healer on the list is quite some distance off... this is... amazing... I can feel some blissful glow welling up inside me. And after all this time, when I thought I wasn't quite good enough yet.
After that, I get more and more invites to the major end game raids. I am just thankful I never screwed up - too badly, that is hahahaha... Of course I admit I do make mistakes, but thank goodness they're minor ones. Ones they're kind enough not to fiak me upside down for. The strawberry on top of the icing on top of the cake came last night, when one of their core guild raid member told me to turn up for the raid tonight, as they're considering of promoting me to a core raid member as well. Oooooo.... fuzzy fuzzy all over... :-p
I know it isn't much, but personally, I'd like to believe that I've reached a milestone in my WoW career. So... bleah.
