I don't know if they're from here, but Yahoo messenger asks if I want to let someone put me on thier list. Not sure why, it's not quite how those lists are used, at least by me. Anyway, I don't add until I've at least talked to them. I think there was an option to send a message along, but I don't know if pidgin uses those.
