Hello! I am currently planning on doing an around the world backpacking adventure. I probably won't leave for about a year but I'm a planner and want to start researching and planning the best possible trip. Right now I'm focusing on the central and south American leg. This is what I've come up with so far. These lists are not in any order. Any tips or suggestions on places to leave behind or pick up would be great.
Costa Rica- San Jose, Puerto Viejo de Talamanca, Dominicial, Mal Pais and Santa Teresa, Volcan Rincon de la Vieja
Peru- Lima, Cusco, Machu Picchu, Huacachina
Bolivia- salt flats
Chile- Santiago, Vina del Mar, Rancagua, Valparaíso
Argentina- Buenos Aires, Perito Moreno Glacier, Mendoza, Iguazu
Brazil- Rio de Janeiro, Salvador, Manaus/Amazon, Jericoacoara, Sao Paolo
Not sure how do-able it is. I hope to travel mostly by bus except in cases where the distance is extremely long (Argentina-Brazil for example). Thanks for your help.
