EDIT perhaps it would help if I said that I'm talking about the South Coast in South Africa...! Sorry! :P
HELP!
Two friends and I are going to be on the South Coast with some family friends for a few days, but due to tight circumstances and the grandparents arriving a few days after our arrival, we can only stay with them for three days instead of five (beginning of January- yes, I am aware this is high season, but c'est la vie! We'll work with what we have).
I've tried to look for some moderately cheap accomodation (no more than what would be $30/night... even that's a bit, though :-/ ), but to no avail. I've also looked on hostel world, but there are either very few or no ratings whatsoever, and I'm a bit skeptical about staying at a place in South Africa that has few or even no references.
So would anyone be able to suggest anything good? It doesn't necessarily even have to be on the South Coast- perhaps the Drakensberg area as well. Anything that is fun, nice and of course, cheap. :)
