State of Tuva  is exotic in Russia.

It is located near Mongolian border and is the most beautiful place i even saw.

I took this pictures last autumn, when i visited Tuva and climbed the biggest mount there  - Mongun-Taiga.

Is this region anywhere near the point where the Trans-Mongolian crosses the border?

As far as i know there is no railway in Tuva - the nearest staishon is Abakan - about 1000 km by car )

yes, i heard it - in the plane from moscow to abakan we met tuvian musicans, and later went to their concert.
