SPRING BREAK!
How's everyone doing? Guilford County students enjoying their break? Here's my deal so far:
Day One: Carolina 101. I don't think there is anything I dislike about UNC. The atmosphere is great. The campus is gorgeous, even in the rain. Chapel Hill and Carrboro are amazing. Some of the speech part was boring, but hey. The variety of opportunities is impressive. The First Year Seminar program is interesting as well...that was definitely something new to me. After the drive back, it was off to J. Butler's to surprise Lindsay for her SIXTEENTH BIRTHDAY! Oh man, did we get her good. She had no clue. Knife fights, bad jokes, table tricks, and cake wars...I managed to play the same trick three times at the same table! *SIGH* good times.
Day Two: Palm Sunday. We could not have known less about what was going on in church this morning if we tried. It all ended up fine, though, I suppose, but the service was long. Looooooong long. My sister convinced my mother to let her have Sarah over afterward, and she made me take them shopping. Yeah--made me, haha. I got some very cute moccasins and an AMAZING pair of rather psychodelic pumps. For ten bucks. Together. I KNOW! We came home and watched Fun with Dick and Jane (Jim Carrey is a GOD--everyone buy/rent it when it comes out on Tuesday). Very, very funny. Then, you know, chores and stuff and packing for tomorrow. And that's it.
