windmill, windmill...

The dance concerts went well. Thanks to those who came out, and to those who didn't: it doesn't really hurt my feelings, but I will shoot you if you don't show up to the choreography concert.

FRIDAY, JANUARY 13 @ 7 IN THE WEAVER THEATER...just $3

Everyone should come. It's gonna kick butt. Other dancers may tell you they're not sure about their projects yet, but I know these girls, and how much talent they have in them, and I have faith that every single piece is going to turn out AWESOMELY.

I had something like a "psychadelic experience" the other day, minus the drugs but with "tasting creativity", and I decided on a title for my piece. It was pretty cool. I felt like a real, inspired choreographer for a minute there.

"Ah, but life is like that! It does not permit you to arrange and order it as you will. It will not permit you to escape emotion, to live by the intellect and by reason! You cannot say, 'I will feel so much and no more.' Life, Mr. Welman, whatever else it is, is not reasonable!"

Here's to crossing paths...
