What?!?

So this morning we had to call a 24 hour repair place to fix the furnace.  If that wasn't bad enough to not have any heat in winter....this guys shows up high  as a kite.  He comes into the house, and is acting all crazy- then he goes back out to his truck and sits there for an hour.  He comes back in...and obvs has shot up/sniffed up- whatev and can't even walk straight.  We kick him out of the house and call the cops.  When the cops come they find powdery residue in his pants- so he is put into handcuffs and then for the next two hours they use my front room to try and convince him to confess to drug use while we wait for his general manager to send someone to A) pick up the van and B) to send another person to fix our fing furnace....this time for free.  The police take a CO detector downstairs for us- and that all checks out (by this time we have shut down the furnace anyway) and then one cop proceedes to try and get the guy to confess while the other cop checks out the van after they get him to say yes to a search.  They find whatever they need and finally escort him out.  The next repairman shows up finally and within 20 minutes has us up and running.  He then says that we owe 300 bucks.  I'm all...nope, you need to call Jeremy and/or your general manager who is out of town...but has called us since this is all a fiasco.  So the guy who is totally mean (I mean, I know how it is to have to come in when you are second call...so you shouldn't have to come in unless the first call is dead...but Dude!  Not my fault that that your co-workers decided to go to la-la land on the job.) finally gets a hold of Jeremy (get this- they tech is all "I'll give you 45$ off...we are all...  You don't get it.  We have to fight with him to even get out of our basement and then had the cops here checking him for whatever and he left in handcuffs.  WHAT DO YOU NOT GET ABOUT FREE?)  Finally he listens to Jeremy after we have all sat around for a few minutes waiting for Jeremy to give us a call back.

Dude!!

WTF?!?

This was not how I pictured my Sunday going.

Sheesh....well we got a guy off the street that needed to be, got heat finally, and it was free.  So I guess it wasn't all bad.

O.O
