Dude! RL dating.... what?
I went on a date tonight. First one in forever a long time. It was kind of terrifying and....terrifying. ;) I think it went well, but I never know. I tend to swing wildly from talking non-stop to saying nothing- and I tried really hard not to do that this time...but yeah. I forgot how much crap goes into dating. I actually let my hair down (man, does straight ironing take a million years or what??) and put on makeup (dude, even eyeliner! It took me two tires. LOL I had to wash it all off the first time...I swear I need my woman diploma taken away) O.O When I was talking to me lil'sis she was all....wow I am amazed you even have a straight iron and eyeliner. LOL So I got all gussied up...but I figure that he must like me my other way as well....since he did ask me out and I wasn't all gussied up before....so yeah.
Anyway, who knows. I am always shocked I even get asked out to begin with, let alone a second time. Even if nothing happens it was nice to go to dinner with a companion and not have to pay. He is one of the few men that I sort of work with (long story...we see each other sometimes when he is needed for a case and the pt comes back to my unit) that is single (they are all dropping like flies. Everyone is getting married except me.)
He already sort of mentioned going out again...but again who knows. I tend to just be a moron and blush when anything is ever brought up- so he probably thought I was having heat flashes all night long. LOL I swear, I am such a nerd. He knows that I like Bollywood because of a whole convo about how "Slumdog.." was not an actual Bwood, and he knows that I like foreign music....but not so much that the said foreign music is a bunch of Boybands from Korean....so yeah. I think that will be left for later if there is a later. Plus to be fair to myself, I do like a lot of Irish music as well as Indie Japanese rock bands, so it is not all boybands, but probably still best not to bring that up too quickly. ;P
Oh my gosh! Time to stop now, I can't plan for a "future" that it taking it a bit to far after only one date. I swear, I get old and go on 1 date and start thinking about crap that I shouldn't think about. O.O
