Condo
I got it! I'm going to sign papers tonight on the condo. Now my life narrows worries down to moving and keeping my job (which is not more endanger than any other job in this economy. If the economy perked up, I wouldn't have this concern).
My realtor commented that I was far too calm about the whole thing for this to just be my first house. I avoided telling him I was a champion card player. I've managed to keep more money in reserve. Yeah! Hopefully I've estimated my payments out correctly.
Anyway, things to do after signing papers:
Get a lawyer
Get inspections done
Get my money out of the bonds that it's in (I've got the kind with no penalty for leaving)
Get a mortgage
Pay for the place
Tell my landlords
Move my small stuff
Rent a truck (this is part of why I learned to drive a stick)
Move my furniture
Buy a fridge
Buy a stove
Go to Anthrocon
Get stuff delivered
Get two cats
Sign up for martial arts once I have money again.
