If the WC was a casting contest, the German squad would be the boyband. Seriously. Never was a team that gay slashable ;) Let me introduce you to our young, handsome and oh-so-loveable (temporary) squad. We may not be the best in terms of playing right now, but hey, we look damn good :P

And don't worry - Basti Fantasti does look rather like Metze in that pose. *pets* At a secondary glance, I would've thought that it's Metze, too, but if one's a Metze fanatic like I am... *g* (Just be glad that you didn't mistake Owo for Kahn! *g*)

I'm a HSV fan, oh yes. One who's very much crushing on Raphael Wicky ♥ I saw a few matches this season. I'm from Hanover, btw, so my HSV love doesn't interfere with the love for my home team that much ;)

And Wicky... heh. *grins* Sadly, there's no eyecandy after my taste to be found at the HSV. Closest ringers would be the Trotsche (but he's too tiny) and ohsogay!Benny, though. *g* But other than that... ugh, who would want to fancy Ailton or Barbie? *snickers*

Yes, it's pretty close. A friend of mine works in Hamburg, she's always home for the weeknd, though. My father used to do it the same way, which was an awesome time for me and my sister. We used to occupy his flat on the weekend when he was back in Hanover and went clubbing in HH. Good times, lol.

I don't know anglo_phile, though. I might have to go and say hello :D I'm just testing the water in footie fandom, so to say, to get ready for WC. I'm involved in too many fandoms and dabble a bit here and there, but with the WC coming up, I definitely need more footie input. I went insane during Confed last year ( ... )
