The damn car
So. I took the damn car in to get the sway bar fixed like I said on Saturday and they called me and said that the link it was connected to was stuck and would need to be broken. And replaced. For another $70.
Well, okay, fine. I guess I have no choice. They call back a few hours later to tell me they can't get the car apart at all and I have to pick up a rental for a few days until they can get to it.
So from Saturday until today I drove a rental (it was a 2005 Cobalt, only silver... eerily like driving my own car but not). They called this morning to say they got the sway bar in but the link on the other side was also stuck and that needed to be broken. And replaced. For yet another $70.
All told it cost me almost $500 to get this damn sway bar thing straightened out. I just hope I'm done with car repairs for now -- it has completely screwed my summer budget. COMPLETELY.
