November 30th - A is for Antarctica
Strangely, though no one lives permanently in this country, it has some of the most interesting and well-designed sites I've seen so far.
An excellent and interesting site, Cool Antarctica provides facts, news, pictures, history, and science. I'm considering it our overview site for the 30th.

My friend Nikki has told me that it is currently -35 degrees C at the Amundsen/Scott base.
