I haven't posted in a while have I? Travelling can do that I suppose. Which brings me to the announcement that I am currently in Florida. I really wish I wasn't.
Yes, yes. I know. "It's Florida." But if I weren't down here, then I wouldn't have to watch my Grandmother struggle to survive while going in and out of the hospital, I wouldn't be missing a pay check (yeah, call me a prick, but I need to pay rent), I wouldn't have to be playing the good role model for my little cousins, I wouldn't have to be overhearing discussions of what to do about my grandparents in light of their ever-rising inability to care for themselves...yes indeed, I may be a lone wolf in Michigan within the coming year. Hey Paul, we'll be in the same boat! That entire situation is just a possibility at this point. But the way the rents are talking about it, it seems to be a kind of strong possibility. So we'll have to see.
School bill needing to be payed really soon here. Sumbitch. At least I have a month in between rent payments. I don't know where I'd be if the time in between was shorter. Hell, I'd be screwed. Severely screwed.
