update for Kelsey
Things have been uneventful, yet pleasantly busy lately.
Work has picked up and I have been so busy during the evenings with friends today is the first day I have not left the house, except to go to lunch & biking. At 6:00PM I saw the first sunshine I think I have seen in DAYS. Unfortunately, next weeks forecast looks just as dreary as this weeks was. Anna and I may never get tan. This is natures way of preventing skin cancer and exercise via swimming!
To start out with the bad news first: Lila left town. She is going to go to school in California for the next 3 years. While I do not see her that often, I enjoy her company and she has been wonderful about helping me find social connections in town. I will miss her!
Today, Ann told me her clients have decided to withdrawal from pursuing purchasing the condo. While I am not surprised, I would have been nice for many parties involved to have the house sold! The number of showings it had been getting was encouraging.
I think for the first time ever I have allergies. I have been sleeping with my sliding door open, then biking at night, plus walking the dog, and going in & out for work, which also has the door open for most of the day. Anyhow, after my bike ride today, I noted I was partially dizzy and my head hurt and I have been sneezing a lot. So I took a decongestant. Don't know if it helped. Maybe I have swine flu ;)
The good news: Dad figured out how to get semi-signal for my TV again. When analog TV went out, something weird happened, he isn't too sure what yet. Yay that I now have FOX again, kinda.
When I was assisting Patti in cleaning out her closet yesterday I inherited some really nice clothes. She gave me a fancy, yet simple and chic tan, knee length jacket, a little dress, tags still on, a BeBe "going out" top, a fold over BCBG sweater, several cashmere sweaters, either pink or black, of course, one which was also never worn, plus a subtly shiny black silk top & a fake little Fendi. I am pretty excited to have a few more things to wear, even if it's off season. The only negative side to the nice, free clothes is that I have to dry clean most of them! Eeek.
Also, after my mad cleaning and laundry spree today, I think I have all of my clothes hung and folded for the first time in too long.
I got a 107 bowling last night, which is a good sign I am "getting my game back" haha.
I got to chat with Liz for the first time in a long time. She gave me some GREAT tips for starting my web page. Any thoughts for a domain name are welcome. Dad was hooked on "DialDarin.com" but some failing realtor in FL took it. I kinda like "chooseDarin.com". Patti said I could steel hers "askforpatti.com" and obviously customize it! ;)
Ok. Mom just got back from her bug trip. I should go say hi, haven't seen her in DAYS!
