I usually buy maybe two Christmas presents per year; hospital secret santa and the chalet girl. Think I'm starting to understand why. I feel like I just went ten rounds with Tyson, and he got the novelty reindeer dropping chocolates at the end. Who buys those ( Read more... )

Mmhmm! Enough so that the only way Sam will notice that any are going missing is if he actually catches me in the act of cookie thievery. I've found that's a fairly reliable rule of thumb for such things.

Sam can complain about missing cookies the day he starts making the cookies. That said, I think there might be more cookies than people in the City right now.

There won't be for long! At least, there won't be in the Warehouse, with the way we tend to eat them. But of course, it wouldn't be Christmas without entirely too many cookies, would it?

I think it's more of a cold weather thing. At home it wasn't christmas without too many grilled prawns. Less of a baking season.

As far as I can tell, most people here had their Christmasses in Winter. I had mine in Summer because I lived on a different side of the world.
