Well. At least it's not a guide on tampons.

...Was that the experiment inspired by Eichmann?

If you couldn't understand the first one, there's no helping you.

If you're trying to compare it with the current city fiasco, and if I remember right- then the two aren't completely congruent. You have to factor in that incentive's the main cause for action here. No one's just following orders, other than the orders of their own self-interest.

They're not completely congruous, but there are parallels. Fifteen out of the forty initial subjects only took the shocks to a certain threshold. Were they stronger or weaker than the twenty five who continued right up the scale?

If you're asking me? Stronger. It takes more than a pair of metaphorical balls to be autonomous. People are all sheep.

But you're asking someone who's biased.

That's if you want to believe they stopped because they thought it was wrong, and not because they were afraid of the consequences. They'd already gone half way.

Right. Waking up like that must have been a shock to the system.

But they still stopped before reaching the end, didn't they? Even if they remain sheep. We can't ask too much of humans, unless you're a believer in applying idealistic and impossible moral theories to mankind.

Not exactly that, but you're right about the shock part.

So if I only cut one of your limbs off, I'm a better person than if I went for the full compliment? Good to know.

Go on.

It doesn't make you a better person, but it's better that you lopped off one instead of sending me to my grave.. Though we should have started this conversation off by defining "stronger."

I'll think I'll stop there.
