I got coffee with Cameron yesterday. Man, is it wrong to still be crazy about her even though Angela just left?
Who am I kidding, I've always been crazy about her. Too bad I totally broke her heart last week. Right now I'd just like us to be friend-friends again. Somehow I've got to smooth things over.
Maybe I should let her in on my plan to free the zoo unicorns. I call it Project Zoonicorn. She loves kittens and puppies, how can that affection not extend to the most noble of beasts? Also I was going to free the other animals first, then enlist their help. Afterwards we could all have a wild jungle party!

How are you supposed to get over someone when you have to be around them all the time? If only Foreman were here, he'd know what to do. Sometimes I look at the friendship bracelet we got together and I almost start to cry.

So Angela went home on Saturday, and I think I might have lashed out at some people who didn't deserve it. Oopsie! Saturday was also the six month anniversary of when I first arrived in this crazy, kooky town and I guess it all added up to a pretty stormy day at Casa Chase. Appletinis on me at Blue Light this weekend to make up for any hard feelings?
It's strange the things that can brighten up your day. It looks like Mrs Templebaum's going to get her new hip after all, and we finally caught the pediatrics lollypop thief. Can't hide your habit when you puke in three delicious fruity colours, Barney!
But there are other things, too, outside of the hospital. Coffee with a good friend even when she knows she probably shouldn't be speaking to you. Watching the leaves pile up on the sidewalk and knowing it won't be long until Jack Frost's nipping at your toes. When your boss takes you in his age-withered yet still surprisingly powerful arms and just hugs the sadness right out of you.
I don't know for sure, but I think that last one might be the best of all.
Now if only I can avoid running into that crazy Wilson guy, today will be perfect!
