The weekend was interesting; almost made up for never being allowed down to see Circus Oz as a kid. Not so sure about the side shows, mainly because I thought the industry was supposed to have moved on from hairy women and shaved bears. It's funny how many things in this City remind me of being a kid, or of stuff I missed out on back then. Still haven't been directly affected by a curse, myself.

Though I can't say I'm not glad to be seeing fewer kids tripped out on fairy floss at work. You might as well feed them a candy bar and a handful of amphetamines.

While the weather's this good, I thought I'd go see how the surf measures up at the beach. Working on the theory that where there are waves, there's a board shop. Anyone else spend time at the shore? There have to be some ways to spend free evenings in this place, besides falling onto the couch or into a local bar.

Not that those don't work as fall-backs.
