The lyric is bridge over troubled water. Bridge over placid waters with multiple under currents isn't as musical.

Can you not handle metaphors anymore? Is this what's going on? Foreman would have at least done an eyeroll and we'd resume this conversation a few days from now when he didn't get it on his own.
