They're patients whose cases I was involved with in New Jersey. The curse yesterday dropped off a few reminders and I--thought it might be worth keeping them on file.
Oh...well, I imagine it might be----I mean, in the sense that you can't really be sure of what will or won't be useful at some point or, you know...so...it makes sense to hold onto...things.
[ pause and she sounds like she is, in her own way, trying to say that apologetic tone is not necessary ]
It's more than a little confusing--the likeness, but they say everyone has a twin. I...I think the catch is that usually we don't...see them. Well.
Everyone doesn't have a twin. But when you're here, sometimes someone else has your face. There were two people with mine, when I got here.
[And he bitched for WEEKS, Emma, you don't have to be so understanding.]
She looked just like you. She's--part of the reason I spoke to you initially. You'll find a high percentage of people in this city who'll tell you they know strangers who look familiar. From what I've been able to tell, my incidence rate is higher than most.
I'm glad I did. The ped's ward found a great addition.
Both, to a degree, though I'm not unique in having more than one doppelganger around. I mean more faces I've seen before; there are others that I don't have pictures of.
[There's a moment here where it seems like the easy lie - or a lie to make her feel easier - would fit better, but he's not fitting the words to his intent.]

Thank you though. For...talking to me that day.
I apprecia-- Have I already said that? Hm.
By your incidence rate---do you mean more with people sharing your face or of seeing others with faces you've seen before?

That's quite the thing to keep track of. Does it bother you---that other people have---share your image?

Yes, it bothers me. Everything here bothers me.
