coping with what they call "growing up"
It seems as though these past few weeks have wizzed by... many of you might take the term wizzed a little out of context, but for those of you who don't have your mind in the gutter you might know what I mean.
This past Friday was my Senior Exhibition, and for those of you who dont know what that is... sucks for you because this might not make sense to you.
Senior Exhibition is one of those things I looked forward to and dreaded at the same time since I was a new freshman at Quest High School. Now that it is over... It feels as though it never happened. Exactly what all the old people (not old, just older than me, more lived than me) has been true. Each day will seem faster and faster than the one before. Sure, you have a slow one occasionally and as you get older you learn to appreciate the slow days because they are easier lived. In such a fast paced world the younger you are the fast you want to be older. I blame it on the media and those parents who just don't give a (Hoover) dam about what they allow their children to do.
