Today was a pretty normal Sunday. Got to the theatre (free parking out front! score!) a little before 10, called the double, went grocery shopping, and came home to watch Desperate Housewives with my sister. For the sake of full disclosure, I'll tell you that grocery shopping consisted of popcorn, a big ass bottle of red wine, bread, cheese, steam fresh baby brussels sprouts and yogurt. The yogurt was free thanks to my Stop and Shop card. The Stop and Shop that was on the other side of the city. Because that's the one that sells wine. Also? DH is awesome this season, and that's not two glasses of wine talking. Does anyone else watch? Did anyone else also almost cry/give up hope on the entire male population because of Tom Scavo? Does anyone else thing Tom Scavo is the hottest husband on television?
It was a long day, but I was happy to see everyone this morning and still had a smile on my face when I got home at 8:30. It was one of those days that make me realize how lucky I am that I love my job, because I have HATED my job before and you can just ask my former roommate about the look on my face when I came home back in those days. Not pretty. And not every day is easy and every single shows isn't all puppies and kittens, and I still have crap to rant about, but my worst day at the theatre is nowhere near as bad as my best day at That Horrifying Office Job That Nearly Killed Me. The wine habit, however, has stuck.
