my mom cracks me up
this is the conversation i just had with my mom...there is something wrong with us.
to preface the story, anthony worked with my mom, and is practically a member of the family. we dont like katie, his fiance.
Vse254: Did I tell you that I talked to Anthony?

Vse254: Would it come as a big surprise to you to know that he has learned that his mom doesn't like Katie?
Maggita47: HOLY COW THAT IS COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS INFORMATION I WOULD HAVE NEVER GUESSED!

Vse254: This wedding is going to be so fun!
Vse254: Lisa and I have always "been on the same page" so I was not surprised in the least.
Vse254: I did like getting validation for my intuition though.
Maggita47: haha maybe you wont have to object. lisa can do it. since she is his mom...
Vse254: I told Anthony there actually was the possibility of you objecting.......he actually thought I was serious.
Vse254: I said that she was marrying your Bob Barker buddy and that it was serious business.

Maggita47: maybe you, me, and lisa oould all object in unison. that would really get the point across...
Vse254: He said that Katie would either "cry" or "pull out a gun".

Maggita47: haha good call. i could have kat teach me some stuff she learned in kickboxing...
Vse254: If he had just listened to our evaluation a couple of years ago (giving her a "8") he would have saved himself this grief.
Maggita47: exactly. and we were being nice with an 8
Vse254: There are a lot of 10's out there but he was just to insecure to keep looking.

Maggita47: he was just distraught after alissa shot him down
Vse254: Dad and I were wondering if the A/L have a dollar dance at the wedding if Anthony will be brave enough to dance with Alissa. I am sure that Katie would be "objecting" with that.
Vse254: sorry.......at Alissa & Lee's wedding.
Maggita47: haha i figured it out. im guessing not, though.
Vse254: Katie will have realy self-esteem issues when Alissa looks so gorgeous in that gown and she is feeling all "fat and ugly" as Anthony tells me she feels.
Maggita47: maybe she'll call off the wedding
Vse254: That's why I haven't bought plane tickets just yet.

Vse254: He also said that Katie would probably cry at the wedding. I asked him if it was because she was leaving her family or because she was happy......he said it would be because she is having to leave her family! What's up with that!
Maggita47: yeah thats not normal. i could call and threaten her, i sound pretty tough on the phone...
Vse254: and they are not planning on doing anything after the wedding....just going back to the apartment and then probably hang out with family the next day. She said since his buddies are going to be in town Katie is going to spend the day with her family and he and his buddies are going to get together. This is definitely a doomed arrangement.
Maggita47: she might as well have teal bridesmaid and have their first dance be to i honestly love you...
Vse254: Exactly! He sounded serious so I made a few suggestions about THAT wouldn't be happening and he had better come up with something better than that!

Vse254: I never had any issues with Nathan and Jennifer so it isn't about not wanting to share.

Vse254: Anthony just knew I would not be thrilled so he chickened out. He has never asked me what I thought about Katie............it's the one and only thing he has not ever asked my opinion on. I guess he knew.
Vse254: And now that his mom seems to be "on board" I am sure he is feeling like he needs to prove us all wrong.
