hello children and welcome..
welcome to my work life. my name is kelsey and i am a temp. i am currently on an assignment working in a mailroom and delivering mail to various hospital and healthcare related offices and organizations in the city, each day is like a jungle, a battlefield, an epic war. sometimes i find myself praying in the bathroom and crying to myself. sometimes i am triumphant, victorious like odysseus when he conquered many a monster or demon in homer's ancient epic (you know which one, if you dont you dropped out of middle school and you're a pot smoker (no offense to pot smokers). in this live journal i invite you all in to my daily life. (monday through friday 8:00am to 4:30pm, that is.) you may hate me, you may love me. you may laugh, you may cry as i expose my deepest darkest (work related) secrets to you over the internet. please take your shoes off smoke some marijuana and enjoy..........................
today is a normal enough day in the mailroom, i guess. i am running behind slightly and this 15-20 minute lunch break has caused me to become very tired and i dont want to move. my attitude today is positive, however, which in this work environment is my greatest asset. after this break, i will throw on my headphones, select deseparecidos on my ipod and begin bundling mail. peto ( a character i shall reveal more to you about later ) is unfortunately in today and has created a grevious mess for me to clean up and an enormous workload for me to complete that shall set me back even more. that slick bastard! i dont know what kind of secret black voodoo he is doing but i am convinced that he is practicing the black arts. i have been on this break for too long and i sadly have to go back to work soon. i will purchase an energy drink (rockstar, of course) on my first stop and i will smoke a cigarette either after i stop on fillmore street or at sutter. only time will decide.
