So i'm now thinking that Costa is actually nicer than Starbucks.
Starbucks is kind of Uni students and accoustic guitars,
Costa is more coffee cause we want it. The inside is nicer too.
So we had coffee and chatted, not all too awkwardly and I actually think it helped. Before I talked to Steve I saw my intended future going in three ways all different from eachother and I would have to choose.
But there is actually a way of combining all three. I can take a year out and do training for YWAM (Youth With A Mission) or any other programme of choice. From then I can decide if I want to do Musical Theatre. If I do, well good for me I can enrol somewhere and I know I'll want to be there.
But if I then wanted to stay on in mission I can still do Arts in Uni. Or more specifically University of the Nations. Its a Christian Uni (yeah I know it sounds like bible camp - bare with me) There's 300 locations and 110 nations and a course in all kinds of stuff to do with evangelism through the arts and stuff like that.
I know that everyone who reads this isn't a christian, you're choice and i respect that. But this course, the whole Uni, even the gap year, its like a 24/7 New Wine (thats the real bible camp) and its so exciting!
I'm never happier than when I'm in a really good seminar in New Wine (yet again sounds sad but they're amazing) and when I went on the mission trip to Poland it was the best consecutive 10 days i've ever had.
I think this might be it. The thing i've been searching for to do with the rest of my life, and i don't have to give up anything that I've been hoping for. Infact I get the even better deal.
I'm so happy right now. I think I finally know what I want.
