interesting podcasts?
I really enjoy listening to lectures from the Learning Company (http://www.teach12.com) that I've downloaded to my iPod, but someone just asked me if I knew where to find free lectures and talks and so on and I wasn't sure. I looked into podcasting on the web but it seems like that's mostly about light hearted entertainment stuff or political talk radio.
Does anyone know if there are any interesting intellectually-oriented podcasts out there, or any particularly good left-leaning talk show hosts it would be worth downloading and listening to? I listen to Air America occasionally but can't tolerate some of it (and the commercials are annoying), but I have enjoyed listening to Thom Hartmann when he's been sitting in for Randi Rhodes (who bugs me).
Anyway, I thought I'd ask if anyone in LJ land knows of any podcasts that are worth the time and effort of figuring out how they work!
