The SCALP GODS have reconsidered!
This morning, as I stretched myself all the way to the bathroom, I realized that my hair was a complete mess and that I needed to wrap it in a scrunchie as soon as possible to prevent any further damage.
This is usually an easy thing to do but ever since I discovered I was balding on the nape of my head I try to create good hairstyles that don't involve me pulling it all back into an excruciating ponytail. When I was pregnant I would do this on my bad hair days, which was usually everyday. I'm telling you it was the pregnancy!
So, AS I pulled my hair back today I was careful not to expose the bald areas because who wants to see their bald spots? and I was careful that it was loose enough to prevent further balding. As I did this I noticed that the bald spots werent so bald anymore. HAIR WAS ACTUALLY GROWING BACK!!! It was like the SCALP GODS gave my head a pardon or something. I am relieved but now that I dont plan to wear any more ponytails, *whispers* I dont see the point! I ran to hubby to show him and I knew I was right when he proclaimed " It is growing back! WOW!!!"
Ponytails are for ponies, right? Not for soon to be 29 year olds that make them look like they are 12. So I have ended my ponytail love affair. Thank you for saving me on those days where my hair was uncooperative and thank you for being there when nothing else seemed to work. Goodbye ponytail! *waves*
