Has it really been a year since I've posted anything here? Amazing.

Life.. has been good. I think. Matt and I are still off and on, but mostly off. We hang on to each other for some reason. It's a very odd relationship.. but it works for us in the moment. I'm trying to just live in the moment and enjoy each his company, while I can. His best friend just got sent to jail a few days ago, he'll be there for at least 2 years before he's eligible for parole. It's what he gets for being stupid, but of course Matt is incredibly bummed and has been leaning on me a bit more lately. I love him and of course I'll support him through this..

School has been hectic. I've officially finished my 3rd semester, only two more to go. We've been doing amazing things - like making games with a fully functional tilt function work on Android tablets. It's generated a lot of interest with local businesses and studios looking for fresh talent, which is exciting of course for us. Next semester we get to pitch our own ideas to the group and vote, whoever wins gets their game made. I've got grand ideas, and Matt is going to help me this summer put together an awesome presentation. I want a game made! Regardless, I think I'm going to step it up next semester and take on a leadership role. I know I can do it, and I should.. for the experience, if nothing else.

A few months ago I adopted two sweet little ferrets.. my first. I've always wanted one, so in between classes I did a LOT of reading and research. They have kept me uber busy outside of school, which is what I've been needing. Their names are Dex and Trinity.. Dex is a little sable, and Trinity is a marked DEW. A friend of mine called them "sugar and spice" which is hilariously fitting. Trinity is white, sugary, and super sweet. The sweetest little animal I've ever met. Dex is.. well.. Dex. A little snotty brat. But I love them both to pieces and it's definitely been an adventure with them.

Anyways..
I look forward to the future, which is something I've not been able to say for a long time.

I'm happy.
