dun dun dun. it's a week away from gym meet. for all of you non-NDPers..gym meet is this crazy tradition at my school where each grade competes for -in big announcers voice- the silver cup. yes folks, there are 4 categories. march song dance and aerobics. march is the dumbest of them all...we march around on our toes in these gay ass shoes and try to be as quiet as possible while trying to form stupid figures dealing with our class theme. song...we put different words to songs...and then sing. what fun. then half the class does dance. dance is dance except not because it always looks retarded because hardly anyone can dance. gay. then there's aerobics. the other half of the class does this. this, in my opinion, is one of the most fun ones because you're just moving around the whole time. it's not too fun to watch but it's fun to do.
freshman and sophomore year i was on dance committee...it was HORRIBLE. so this year i decided to just not do gym meet all together. which has, so far, been very very nice. i get to watch people do all their practices and get yelled at for doing the dumbest things wrong. mwahaha i love it. well...everyone gets two tickets. usually the kids just give them to their parents so they can come one night. well...since im not doing gym meet...i get to keep my two and actually watch it this year. and now i was wondering...whooo (if anyone) would like to join me and experience this wonderful tradition yourself? it will be quite amusing i promise...not only the students performing but me as well because this is going to be the one and only time i will ever be all school spirited...maybe. but yea...who wants to go?!?! eh eh? -nudge nudge- you know you want to =P
