Poem of the Day

Apr 17, 2008 20:29

(With a nod to Carl Sandburg)

Spring comes in
     on little coltsfeet
yellow suns gilding banks
that 'only yesterday
wore the withered brown
of last fall's fashion,
tempting more than the early bee
to savor the world anew.
