echo
as if they've never been spoken to
they breathe
deep
like they've never tasted the air before -
rejoice, young planet, and forever spin
the cosmos said, to gaea..

losing innocence in giving birth,
and life in nourishing her young,
now the very faintest paint thinners
act as her atmosphere;
otherwise, we've eaten her whole
and left nothing...
nothing but the barren skies
and the littered grounds.
