What I Did With My Weekend
- Wrote about 500 words of a new Fly Girl short story.
- Watched assloads of DVDs - Scrubs Season 1, Dreamgirls, The Eiger Sanction, Casino Royale.
- Finished reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
- Bought fresh tomatoes (yum!) off the back of a farmer's truck.
- Started reading Annihilation Book 3.
- Worked on some dreadfully boring security paperwork for the new job.
- With Trelina's help, drank a bottle of wine and most of a 6-pack of Yuengling.
- Worked in the front yard - discovering in the process that I'm being totally overrun by ants.
- Made a simple tomato and mozzarella dish that probably should have been a side or an appetizer, but which Trelina and I made into a main course simply by making a lot of it.
- Almost finished washing the dirty dishes that have been piling up in my sink most of the week.
- Relaxed and enjoyed the idea of not going to work for a week.
