Heroes Con Pictures
Behold... the only two pictures I took all weekend at the superb 2007 Heroes Comic Convention in Charlotte, NC:
You can't tell from the pic, but the Spidey giving me a thumbs-up is a girl. She's being friendly enough, but you've gotta love guy-Spidey's enthusiasm.
The legendary Don Rosa, as he draws Donald Duck flipping the fuck out in my sketchbook. I've met a lot of really nice pros at comic conventions, but I think Mr. Rosa trumps them all. What a friendly guy.
(This is what happens when you put Russ in a comic convention, by the way... he's too busy hard-geeking to take any pictures. Suffice it to say, a good time was had by all, and many 50-cent bins wept from the pillaging. I'll post my latest art acquisitions - including Donald going nuclear - as soon as I get a chance to scan them.)
