Home Again
So after what seemed like an eternity of flying, Derek and I got home from LA last night. The trip was actually a lot of fun and I came to the understanding that it is not LA that I hate, it's just Hollywood. Anyhow, we did A LOT of eating. Christmas was a blast and we all got amazing gifts (including my new Mac OS X laptop that Derek got for me!!) Of course, Lars and Franky went absolutely insane when we came in - having them in bed with us definitely helped me sleep more soundly. All in all the trip was an awesome get away, California is really beautiful and it makes me wish Florida wasn't so flat. On the other hand, it also made me want to go take a trip to the Keys. It's always so hard to plan vacations though, as Derek's schedule is constantly changing. (but I think I will look into it anyhow)
Well, I have 10 days left until the semester from hell. Who knows what will happen to me then. Maybe my brain will get so big i'll have to rest it on my shoulders. haha. that would rule.

oh, here are some pictures I took on the plane ride home. I was pretty bord and couldn't sleep despite the fact I had only gotten 2 hours from the night before. These obviously aren't my best pictures, but I honestly don't care. haha (I don't know how to LJ cut, sorry)
