I just created an account solely so I could comment on this fic. I also think it's the first review I have ever written in my life.

This fic is so incredibly amazing, I don't have the words to correctly express myself. I don't even think I can call this a 'fic' -- the word does not quite cover what a work of art it truly is.

I read the whole thing while listening to Ella Fitzgerald's 'Pure Ella' which proved to be the right soundtrack for me.

I felt like I was there, living alongside these beautiful characters. I gasped, I cried, I laughed and loved, and I can say with utmost certainty that this is the best fic I have read in my entire life. It had such an impact on me and not just because I can relate to Gerard a little too well for reasons of my own.

It's been about half an hour since I finished reading and I am still trying to come back to the real world -- which seems impossible at the moment. I lived and breathed this fic and I doubt I will ever forget about it.

The storyline, the pacing, the characters, use of present and past scenes, everything was exactly as I needed it to be.

Thank you so much for writing this, for allowing me to lose myself in a world I wished was my own, for sharing this utterly brilliant piece with the world.
