Is professionalism sitting at work in the back room, calling on the phone to the same unresponsive individuals each and every day, then calling all your friends to complain about how everyone is against you? Is professionalism taking your time and making your patients and coworkers wait while you finish up God-only-knows whatever business you want to finish, like texting your so-called-friends or soon-to-be your murderers? Is professionalism sitting in front of a mirror behind your desk to touch up your makeup every 2 to 3 hours; as if anyone really is going to look at you to see what a masterpiece your face is? Does professionalism include treating a patient in therapy while you have gum smacking in your mouth or coming in late without calling ahead any of those times? Is professionalism treating your coworkers with back-lash, sarcasm, or defensive back-talk? Is professionalism taking constructive criticism personally and firing it back at everyone who is trying to help; even though we all think it's a waste of time. If this is where professionalism is going, I don't want to become what the so-called-professionals call being a "productive member of society".
Damn civilians! Serve some damn time standing up for something you believe in rather than being little piss-babies who cry and stomp their feet every time someone disagrees with you as if they deliberately try to hurt and attack you. Shit!
