Heroes 3x01: The Second Coming
First things first, I loved that they used the Yeats quote, 'Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold' because god knows I love that quote and overuse it all. the. time. ANYWAY. That was a satisfying hour! (I'm waiting for the second episode to load as I type this.) It has its slow moments (anything involving Maya and I get annoyed, heh) and how afdskasdf I don't even know the right word to use, can Hiro get? Why couldn't he have frozen time again and just take the damn formula? I'm really excited for Ando being evil, except I bet that's just a red herring and it isn't going to happen that way. Sylar getting Claire's power is pretty awesome, and I miss this Hayden who can actually act (as opposed to mushy~* lovey Claire opposite West. I had to think for a few seconds before I remembered his name, shows how much I love him, heh) and just... What is up with Nathan though, sigh. But they're all looking hot so I am so not complaining much.
FRANCIS CAPRA! I'll be looking forward to the next hour, and squee over Elle like the pathetic fangirl I am, thanksss.
+ Heroes 3x02: The Butterfly Effect
I grinned so hard when David Anders popped up on my screen :D :D (This is more or less a running commentary now!) Okay, man, Peter with the scar = so hot. Ungh, the butterfly effect. I've always loved that concept. And I'm typing this while Maya and Mohinder get stupid. But oh hello, Sendhil's body! But what happened to his hair?? And what is he now, SPIDERMAN? Can Kristen come out now?
Not yet, apparently. Oh, poor Matt. I forgot about him and the desert. Haha. LOL, the music Sylar's walking too. YAY ELLE! "That's me! I'm the blonde!" That was short. :( Oh, also, the superspeed woman annoys me. And Niki? Whaaa? Who are you now? But, I'm really liking this hard-balling, take no nonsense woman.
Okay, Hayden and Milo make a ridiculously pretty couple. I shipped Paire at the start/after Homecoming, it kind of waned when we found out they're related, but I think there's a lot of potential for the pairing. Don't hate, don't hate, you have your opinions, I'll have mine! But, anyway, I love the video camera thing, though it makes me miss Zach. Speaking of, I need to catch up on TSCC, ha. Where was I? Oh, yeah. Their chemistry (Claire and Peter, I mean) is amazing.
I AM SO CONFUSED WITH THE ALI LARTER CHARACTER.
Yaaay Elle again! And again, with just, what, 30 seconds of screentime? She's made me hold my breath. Sigh, sigh. And eee Francis screaming at her. OKAY, HAHA, THAT WAS AWESOME. Her power caused a psionic wave thing? And aww there's the Peter-in-Jesse/Elle. Have I mentioned I ship Elle with just about anybody on this damn show? I haven't? Now you know. Haaa, Angela Petrelli is such a fierce bitch. No one messes with Elle, yo.
Um, Hiro and Ando's subplot are annoying yet again. Last season at least there was Adam to alleviate the awfulness. :\ And, okay, the Mohinder thing is disgusting. It's like The Fly. YAY, HRG/Claire eee. Ha, Gabriel and Angela. I have no words.
In conclusion: Too little Elle. I am so excited about what they're gonna do for her character this entire season though!! ldkjfajkadf I can't wait!
+ How I Met Your Mother 4x01: Do I Know You?
Oh, sweet lord, POOR BARNEY. So silly and so vulnerable and just so.. perfect! Hee, the transformation into Ted is amazing during the date and Robin being all, what the hell is wrong with you and what did you do to my Barney? I want my Barney back! And the Haaaave you met Barney? Broke my heart, and seeing Barney turn down the girl is just kldasfjksdkaf I think I screamed when I watched it. You know, like the silent, tortured screaming. And then him protesting that he's going to get over Robin and choose bimbos over her, and then switching on his huuuge television screen to her on Metro News 1? Yeeeah, RIGHT. If this is the start of something amazing, I cannot wait to see it through the end.
Lol, it also took me all of five seconds to remember the other sub-plot of the episode. I'm not sure how I feel about Stella being the mother, which I still don't think she is, but if she is I'm not going to be a happy camper because obviously Ted and her aren't as compatible as he thinks they are! But MARSHALL, HEE. GLEE. I love Jason Segel so much.
I also just wanted to note that through all the seasons, Robin is still my favorite character on the show, even if they give her the lamest story plots in season three. Cobie Smulders is so beyond gorgeous, ugh, and she gives such life to Robin. My favorite scene (besides the B/Ro ones) is when she was talking about 'Check out the full scoop' or something regarding the ice cream truck.
I'M SO GLAD THE SHOW IS BACK.
