Last Week....
Usually, on Sundays I update from the previous week, but I didn't get to it yesterday.
Valentine's Day was quite nice.... red roses from Nick, sweets from me; and Nick took out Amy and me to eat at a favorite restaurant. At night we watched the Olympics. I enjoyed especially the pairs skating. I even got out to Church in the morning. It was a really good day!
Remembering the beginning of last week, I had the winter blues.... big time! Well I got rid of those early in the week with a trip to Barnes & Noble! That place is a tried and true cure for me for the doldrums.
Tomorrow.... guess what?.... they are predicting another snow event for us. This one will give us about 8 to 12 inches of that stuff we love to hate! Hope I don't get those winter blues again. But, if I do, I can get rid of them later this week with a trip to see my sister. She has a sweet new kitty, whom I am SO anxious to meet! And I haven't seen sis since Christmas.
Amy got her marks from last term.... They were all A's! YAY Amy!!!
Brian's been busy at work. He's working to become a sales rep. He's been an assistant mgr. for quite awhile, and doesn't want to be a manager... too much responsibility. So, hopefully he'll get what he wants. I guess it's a step up.
Grandson Bobby is in Calif. He only has a few more months to go in the Marines. And, granddaughter Pammy is doing well studying to become a nurse. She's another one with all A's! YAY Pammy!!!
