just a bunch of dilly dallying here and there
today was the most productive day i've had all week. [so far]
my best day out of the week was tuesday.
tuesday recap
---like humpty dumpty, i had a great fall. ITS THE SECOND DAMN TIME I'VE FALLEN AT WORK. somone must "love" me to death. so there i was making my way down the stairs [of death] carrying the ghostbuster-like contraption also known as the companys vaccuum[sp?] and my foot slips on the corner of one stair. i slip about 5 steps down until i hit the steel as hard as a rock. it was great timing too, you know because thats when everyone was going downstairs to clock back in from a morning break. so all the openers that day saw me fall on my ass. luckily i have great co-workers. although i knew they all wanted to bust out laughing their asses off, they all asked if i was okay first. what can you do to save yourself from an embarrassment like that but laugh? besides the bruise on my left butt cheek, i made it out alright.
+++so alls the worse before anything turns out great right? the same day i took the punch to my ass, i find out that i'm promoted to register. whoop whoop. i also get a raise. its not much, but hey..a raise is a raise. that tid but of 411 made my day. they must have felt really bad for me falling! haha. unless it was their true intention to break the news to me that exact day. whats done is done and i'm all the smiles for it. so, starting next week, no more greeting, no more fitting rooms. i will dearly miss all the mishaps and causes of the casual groan. [chya right!] i'm going to rock those registers right. =]].
work ended on a sweet note, and the rest of the day was spent in my bed.
wednesday
+++work was truly a breeze. my whole shift was spent in backstock, tagging and unwrapping merch. although it felt like hell, because it was that hot, i once again, made it out alright.
+++lunch with the mother was dandy.
today
i wasnt lazy and all the [to do's] have been done. =]] ::pats self on back:: i registered for city, signed up for classes, and paid a huge chunk of my credit card bill. and thats about all i have to share for right now. when something amazing happens, i'll edit or just post a new entry. until then, y'all have a great day!
