Its Like I Hardly See the Sky Some Days...
I lost it all...
But I have found something...different in it's place.
The last week has been relatively uneventful.
There was a meeting with a music industry "mogul" - more of a styling than a reality.
Actually I, along with others, have a follow up meeting tomorrow.
There was spooning into Katie for a hour of American Pie.
Taylor was jealous...but Katie is nice.
Taylor also needs to get over a few of his insecurities...
As if I actually threaten any of his "masculinity"....as if he has any.
The Northridge Mall no longer holds it's luster...no longer calls to my sense of wa(o)nder.
Cinema hasn't lost its appeal yet....and movies call to me.
"Hero", "Vanity Fair", "AVP", "A Home at the End of the World", "Collateral" all sing to me...and my wallet.
I haven't seen F. 9/11 yet, but I need too if I am going to continue to critize him for it....which I most undoubtably will be.
Maybe I will just download it...I don't know...not all that important.
But he is such a fuckin' jackhole though. Can someone please para-drop him right in the middle of a HAMAS facility? Please? Anyone?
He is the reason why I am a REPUBLICAN! I couldn't be a member of a party he belongs to.
Not that I like Bush all that much....With his stupid, ill-timed, and inflamitory proposed Gay Marriage Amendment. Bastard.
But on the "important" (ie. non social issues) I am all onboard the Bush Wagon.
I support the war in Iraq, I support tax refunds and tax cuts, I support his strong stance on National Security, I love the fact that he is stable.
Whether I agree with him all the time or not, he is a stable president. Doesn't flip-flop on issues (cough Kerry cough).
If we could meld Kerry's social agenda with Bush...then we would have a canadate that I wouldn't feel embarrassed voting for.
I would get out there and march at the head of a Gay Pride Parade...but I would also love to speak at a Republican Convention.
I am a true compassionate Conservative. Unlike Bush...who is a gun toating shoot-em first type. However, in a time of war, that's exactly what our nation needs.
