"Behind on school work, and club duties," Kwangmin mutters, fighting with his school bag strap that managed to tangle around his torso. "I wish I was still in the hospital," he admits quietly, running down the stairs and rounding a corner.

Before he could stop himself, he runs into another body.

Managing to not land on his bandaged hand, Kwangmin groans as he rubs his aching tailbone which got the impact. Feeling the gauze wrapped around his head loosening, he sighs as he looks around him; his bag had managed to open and scatter all its contents on the ground.

"Are you okay?"

Looking up, Kwangmin sees the outstretched hand, and then the owner of that hand.

"Uh, thank you," Kwangmin mutters, taking the hand and getting to his feet. I swear I've seen him somewhere... but where?

"Hey Jeongmin, you alright?" the boy says, looking down beside him to see the boy that Kwangmin collided with.

Then it clicked.

Both of them are JiHoon's men! Feeling very self-aware, Kwangmin fidgets on the spot and attempts to pick up his things. I really don't want to talk to them right now.

"Heard you got into the hospital, you alright now?" the boy, not Jeongmin - who was still on the floor massaging his butt - asks. He sounded rather... deeply concerned.

"Uh, y-yeah. It wasn't anything too serious." Kwangmin mutters, unwilling to look at them. Weren't they on a suspension?

"He should've expected such a result when he decided not to tell anyone about JiHoon," Jeongmin says, getting to his feet and picking up some of Kwangmin's things.

Ignoring the comment, Kwangmin stuffs everything into his bag in an un-orderly fashion. Although these guys didn't do anything to him, they were still on-par with JiHoon.

"You're probably weary of us," the boy says, grinning slightly. Like Jeongmin, he didn't look like a guy that would belong to such a horrific group of delinquents. He actually looked like a quiet student you'd find studying in the library every lunch hour.

"He has no reason to hate us," Jeongmin says, "but he doesn't have any reason to like us either." He smirks as he hands over the papers he had picked up.

Shrugging, Kwangmin takes the papers and nods in thanks. He hesitates but meets Jeongmin's eyes with confidence. "Although it may have been out of pity for you, I'd like to at least say thank you. If you hadn't stopped JiHoon back then," Kwangmin shudders and grits his teeth, "I don't want to know what would've happened."

That small threat JiHoon made to him was still kept a secret. Kwangmin didn't, couldn't, tell Youngmin, or anyone else, about it. He didn't want his brother in any deeper than he already was.

Jeongmin just stared at him, as the other boy smiled softly; a smile that contrasted largely to what his reputation was. Feeling rather uncomfortable from the stares, Kwangmin fidgets and pulls his bag higher up his shoulder. With a quick nod of a farewell, he had gotten out what he wanted to say; he brushes past them.

"Ahh, I wish I had a brother like you," Jeongmin suddenly calls, not turning around to face Kwangmin. He continues, "Someone cool and caring, right Hyunseong?"

Shoulders shaking with light chuckles, the boy named Hyunseong nods. "Yeah, I'd like that too."

Pausing in his steps, Kwangmin could feel his ears heating up in small embarrassment. Turning his head to the side, Kwangmin nods his head once again and continues down the hall. He smiles when Jeongmin also shouts, "Oh, and thanks for cutting back our suspension days!"

He really doesn't seem like a bad guy, Kwangmin thinks quietly to himself.

"I told you to stop, but did you listen to me? I bet you anything your mom is going to say something about this once she sees it," Minwoo mutters after Youngmin.

Kwangmin, who was quietly resting on the family room couch, turns to watch with amusement as Youngmin returns from practice with Minwoo, who was nagging consistently, following right behind him. Minwoo sighs and sits across from Kwangmin as Youngmin heads for the kitchen; cradling his hand.

"What happened?" Kwangmin frowns, in the midst of unwrapping the gauze from his forehead. He gets up to follow after his brother.

Minwoo throws his hands up and falls back onto the floor. "Don't ask me, ask your brother. He told me to not tell you. I swear you’re both the same...” he mumbles.

Walking towards the kitchen, ignoring Minwoo's muttering, Kwangmin raises an eyebrow as Youngmin ices' his rapidly swelling hand. He just had to give a look for Youngmin to start explaining.

Pursing his lips, wincing as the corner of his lip of was cut, Youngmin attempts to avoid the stares, but fails. "Would you believe me if I told you I hurt it during practice?"

Kwangmin gives a pointed gaze and crosses his arms; being extra careful with his bandaged hand.

Youngmin rolls his eyes, "Fine. I punched him. And then he threw a fist at me. Happy now?" He hurriedly brushes past his brother's surprised expression.

"Woah, wait right there Jo Youngmin. You punched him?" Kwangmin says, grabbing Youngmin’s arm. “Park JiHoon? Why did you go looking for him? You promised you wouldn’t do anything stupid!” He quickly scans his brother's body to see if there were any other injuries.

Youngmin pouts and shakes off Kwangmin’s grip. “I didn’t go looking for him. He was at the school with his parents and officers, talking to some teachers. I happened to see him and… maybe threw a punch…?” He trails off, again, avoiding Kwangmin’s stare. "Hey! His fist barely touched me. You should see him, I gave him a proper punch square in the jaw."

"You promised you wouldn't do anything," Kwangmin implies, taking Youngmin's swelling hand and frowning at it with concern.

Youngmin sighs. "You think if I saw him, I'd let him go freely after what he did to you?" he whispers, chuckling humourlessly. "Don't lie to yourself, you know I never meant that promise."

He pokes his brother's cheek and grins. "And I'm not as weak as you think I am."

Before Kwangmin could scold his brother, Minwoo interrupts with a muffled yelp of a laugh. The twins turn to face him.

“What?” the two shout in chorus; one annoyed and one relieved.

Grinning from ear to ear with amusement, Minwoo points from Youngmin’s hand wrapped in ice, to Kwangmin’s hand that was wrapped in bandages. “You guys surely are twins,” he guffaws, "when one gets hurt, the other just has to have the same injury."

Turning to look at each other, Kwangmin and Youngmin can’t help but to grin from Minwoo’s remark. They shrug; both a carbon copy of each other.

“What can we say,” they both reply, harmoniously; a perfect mirrored image of brotherly love.
