Happy 14 Years
Jay,
I saw a post in my notifications that I've had LJ for 14 years. That means you and I have been together for 14 years... We should celebrate. I know you were just here the other day, but I'd like to invite you to join me while doing something. You can attend in the Holy Spirit, or in person silently, but I'd love to see/feel you with me. It's so exciting that we have been together for 14 years.
I'm crying because this is such a monumental accomplishment for me it feels like. For me to be able and keep a relationship for 14 years; it's the longest relationship I feel like I've ever had with a man. And its because you haven't given up. It gives me hope that things can work out with Pat, but it also tells me that even if things don't, I know that things will be okay. I know that I'll be okay on my own, with You, and my guardians. I know that I'll be okay, regardless. And for the first time, in what feels like months, I actually feel a genuine sense of hope.
