I'm at Jess's apartment in Buffalo! There're cool paintings and beautiful psych center photos and living dead dolls all over, it is very cool.
So after my night of no sleep I decided to go to the mall to fill out applications. I found out where the bus stops and so I walked to it and the street was further away than I expected, Pearl St. is waaaaaaaaaaay down Central Ave. and it took 40 minutes to walk there and I missed the bus by 3 minutes so then on my way back I applied at Rite Aid for like the millionth time, Chad I put you down as a friend in the "do you have any friends/relatives who work here" thing I hope its ok.
Then on the walk back to my house this boy that I had passed on the street earlier ran up to me, I think he had Down Syndrome b/c I could tell that he was mentally retarded when he started to talk, and my mom said that there's a new group home or something in Lancaster, and I'm guessing he was like 13 or 14 maybe, and he was like "Hi I'm Brad and I was wondering if you would be my girlfriend." So he gave me this little piece of paper with his name and number on it and he had another piece and a pen and he was like "Now you have to give me yours" and I felt so bad, I said that I'm not supposed to give out my number, and he asked if my dad was a cop and I said no and he was like why can't you give me your number and I said that I'm just not supposed to give it to people I don't know. But I was nice about it! And then he was like "Now give me your address and I might come visit you sometime" and I said that I don't have a stable address and he was like "what" and I said that I'm moving away to college soon and he said oh ok then walked away.
Today during one of our *debates* (the city has drive by shootings and drugs and weird people and you'll suffer the consequences and don't get in cars with people who are drinking and see if you can call me tonight to let me know that you're ok and then it progressed to tattoos and *of course everyone just gets them b/c they're trendy*) my mom was like "Remember when goth was in a few years ago? I remember you had a few black shirts? You were trying to be goth. Because it was trendy".
Um no.
But its kinda funny now, our *debates*. I don't want to call them fights b/c they're not really malicious. Just differing opinions and generational things I guess.
Then I slept from 3-8 then Natalie and Brian picked me up and we went to Jess's apartment and I'm staying over cause there's some sort of parade down Elmwood tomorrow and Natalie made me this thing with diet coke and vodka citron and it was really good and then we painted (hah mine's so lame, its a red tree with grass and a blue sky w/ spots of blue and bluegreen where there was yellow underneath) and I painted a mushroom for Natalie next to the tree but it looks like a T and we made up stories and THERE ARE KITTENS and they walked in paint and they're SO CUTE and I need new sneakers b/c they're all disgusting and stained green from cutting the grass a few times and I'm really hyper yet tired at the same time and maybe I should go to bed?
